Climate Transitions in Collaboration
This research project aims to assess and strengthen the City of Malmö's strategic climate transition by establishing a knowledge alliance between Malmö University, the City of Malmö’s Environmental Department, and the association HÅLLPUNKT.
Building on Malmö’s ongoing and upcoming initiatives to establish climate contracts as part of the broader Climate Transition Malmö program, the project provides an empirical foundation for analyzing and improving the city's approach to achieveing its climate goals. It also promotes knowledge sharing and policy development.
Using methods such as participatory design, service design, and participatory processes, researchers from Malmö University work closely with the Environmental Department to analyze the city's climate transition efforts. HÅLLPUNKT’s involvement ensures that local associations play a central role in driving this transformation.
