Transformative Business Models for Collaborative System Transition
This project aims to explore and develop collaborative business models of the future that accelerate and support transformation and societal change. It builds on existing research and further develops the traditional business model concept by introducing new elements that promote transformation through multi-stakeholder collaboration and adaptability.

Background and Rationale

Despite significant investments and efforts at EU, national, and local levels to address societal challenges—such as climate change, the twin transition, and digitalisation—the desired results and impacts have not yet been achieved. One of the main challenges is the difficulty of mobilising actors and forming clusters that can navigate changing conditions in complex ecosystems over time and implement transformation in both the short and long term. One of the key instruments of this transformation is money. This project addresses the challenge by focusing on business models and purchasing processes.
